About DeSoto Water Heater Pros
DeSoto Water Heater Pros began with a simple goal: to provide reliable, honest water heater repair to our neighbors right here in DeSoto. As Owner and Lead Technician, I'm Marcus Thorne, and I've spent years working on plumbing systems throughout Dallas County, from the older homes in Downtown DeSoto to the newer developments in North DeSoto. I saw a real need for a dedicated specialist who understands the specific challenges our humid subtropical climate presents for water heaters, especially during those hot summers and mild, but still chilly, winters. That's why I founded DeSoto Water Heater Pros, operating right out of DeSoto, TX 75115, United States.
My approach is hands-on. When you call for a water heater leak repair or any water heater service, you're getting me directly. This isn't a big, impersonal company; it's a local business built on trust and direct communication. I know the housing stock in DeSoto, Duncanville, and Cedar Hill, and I'm familiar with how our local water conditions can affect tank longevity and performance. Whether it's a routine repair or an emergency, my focus is always on providing a durable solution that keeps your hot water flowing without unnecessary upselling or complicated jargon. We're proud to serve the community that gathers at places like the DeSoto Recreation Center and enjoys Moseley Park.
What truly sets DeSoto Water Heater Pros apart is our commitment to being deeply rooted in this community. We're not just working in DeSoto; we're part of it. I believe in upfront quotes, clear explanations of the work needed, and workmanship you can inspect. When you choose us, you're supporting a local business that understands the unique needs of homes in Dallas County and is dedicated to ensuring your comfort year-round.

What DeSoto, TX Customers Say
“Our water heater started making this loud banging noise, especially when we were running the dishwasher. I called DeSoto Water Heater Pros and they sent someone out the same afternoon. The technician, Mike, diagnosed it quickly as sediment buildup. He flushed the tank thoroughly, and the banging stopped immediately. We've had hot, quiet showers ever since!”
“We woke up to no hot water at all one Saturday morning – a real disaster with three kids! I found DeSoto Water Heater Pros online and they were able to get a technician to our house in Pleasant Run within a couple of hours. Turns out the heating element had gone bad. They had the part on their truck and replaced it right there. We had hot water again before lunchtime, which was a huge relief.”
“Our old water heater was leaking a small puddle in the garage near the Hampton Road exit, and I was worried it was going to fail completely. DeSoto Water Heater Pros came out and gave me an honest assessment. They recommended a replacement, explaining why it was more cost-effective than a repair given its age. The installation was quick and professional, and they even took away the old unit. Everything has been working perfectly since.”
